Our office is equipped with the latest state of the art digital x-ray technology which reduces exposure time and amount of radiation used. We strive to share information about dental wellness with our patients so that they may make educated decisions about their oral health.
For most patients an examination and dental cleaning is recommended every six months to detect the early stages of tooth decay, screen for oral cancer and maintain healthy gums. Patients who smoke, have moderate to advanced periodontal conditions or systemic diseases such as diabetes, receive cleanings and check- ups as often as every 3 months. At the initial appointment we will advise what is recommended.
